We are investing in high-tech automation that quickly gives provides customers with access to quality products without troubling with complicated transport over land and sea.
In 2000, we purchased our first 5-axis multi-operational machine, a Deckel Maho DMC 80U. It had two palettes and 120 tool places. A genuine work horse, with large capacity and flexibility. The purchase was our first step in a very large and comprehensive expansion.
Today, we have five 5-axis multi-operational machines from DMG and the sixth will be arriving in the operations during autumn 2014. Three of the machines are part of an automation cell from System 3R, together will a rail-mounted Fanuc robot. This means the robot can serve the three machines in a very flexible way.
Apart from this equipment, an Evolution 50 from DMG also forms part of our machine fleet, even this with a robot system from System 3R. Both of our robot cells are focused on the automation of small series, 24 hours a day. To further increase our flexibility, we have selected three different sizes of palette system. With the large tool storage, we have also considerably reduced the lead times.
During 2014, our continuing investments in machines continued, with both a multi-lathe from DMG – CTX Gamma 1250 TC− with two spindles, bottom turret as well as milling spindle and 120 tool places. And with a 5-axis milling cutter from DMC – 65 MB/RS 3 − with three palette system and a tool storage with 180 places.
With our extensive and modern machine fleet, we offer our customers cooperation with a Swedish partner who can act as the specialist and supplier they need for a successful business of their own.
